Our Team

Dan comes from a background of computing start-ups. After graduating from Warwick University Business School in 1993 he co-founded Ovate Ltd, one of the first Internet companies to focus on web application development.

Dan is a specialist in taking real-world business and market processes and translating these to operate in the online world. He is not scared to get his hands dirty with software development as one of the UK's first Java developers.

Dan is an active council member for Comms Council UK, representing the Internet Telephony industry in regulatory matters with the Government and Ofcom.

Matthew's primary focus is on the development of middleware integration APIs and front-end applications to be delivered to developers and end users of the Voxhub service. He has extensive experience of development technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, Java and Flutter.

In a previous role Matthew was the technical lead on the IssueNet platform as it transitioned from development into production and general use. IssueNet provides support to the primary fixed income market when banks issue new bonds on behalf of their clients. The platform provides interconnectivity between banks for the purposes of order sharing, client identification, term sheet information and allocation of the issue, which increases the speed of the deal while eliminating errors. In 2020 over $4 trillion of bond issues where conducted using the IssueNet platform.

Chris Young is co-founder of the Voxhub service. Day to day Chris heads up our voice platform team and is responsible for operating, maintaining and developing our core voice services.

Chris has been specialising in this field for nearly 2 decades and has become expert in designing, building and operating the voice platforms using our own software and established open-source programs. His understanding of the many standards, protocols and transports; as well as the OS environment, networking and more recently Cloud hosting services; has allowed us to provide a reliable, scalable and resilient platform that integrates well with our partners.
